Serial entrepreneur and digital health enthusiast
Terrence Epie is a serial entrepreneur and digital health enthusiast. He earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Buea-Cameroon, Master of sciences in International Health and Tropical Medicine from the University of Oxford-UK, and a Master’s in Business Administration with a focus on Analytics from University of Kansas-USA. Terrence has supported various international and national organization address gaps in National HIV programs the areas of planning, implementation and evaluation. After noticing high rate of missed appointment for patients on chronic diseases, he started e-Rendezvous (e-RDV), an electronic patient reminder platform that was rolled out in major HIV treatment centers in Yaoundé and Douala. To address blood donation gaps, he started Donate for Life, a virtual blood donation bank connecting blood banks, and improving the supply of the precious liquid -blood. He believes that African can adapt existing technology to address some of the major health challenges facing the continent.
