ADA Research and Development Director
Henry Hoffmann studied computer engineering at the Technical University of Berlin. Professionally, he has developed artificial intelligence technologies at several startups. In 2010 he joined Ada, a digital health company developing AI-based symptom assessment systems and known for its Ada App. Mr. Hoffmann led the prototyping of Ada’s core technology, developing AI algorithms, proprietary modeling languages, and new approaches to knowledge representation. As Director of Research, he currently leads the team developing the future of Adas technology. Mr. Hoffmann is also one of the two co-drivers of the Topic Group on AI-based Symptom assessment (TG-Symptom) inside the ITU/WHO Focus Group AI4H, where he works towards standardizing the benchmarking of Symptom Assessment AIs.
