Pr. Shada Alsalamah is an Assistant Professor of Healthcare Information Systems Security at the College of Computer and Information Science, King Saud University, Saudi Arabia. She is currently a Visiting Scholar in the Media Lab, MIT, MA, USA, joining Prof. Alex “Sandy” Pentland's Human Dynamics research group. Earlier this year she joint Pacioli as a Research Advisor for Healthcare blockchain. She has become in 2017 Vice President, mHealth Solutions Division, AnmarIT, Saudi Arabia. Since 2015, Pr. Alsalamah has been consulting for the Centre of Excellence in Information Assurance (CoEIA), KSU, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and in 2016 she established a Female Chapter of CoEIA that serves as the first information security entity in the region that involves women. In 2015, she received a PhD degree in Healthcare Information Systems' Security and Privacy, and an MSc degree in 2010 in Strategic Information Systems with Information Assurance.
